Leo Weston

I’m a Freelance Senior Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor with over 15 years experience working on Commercials in London, UK. In the post process I lead large teams of Flame, Nuke, DMP & CG Artists and work alongside Production Companies & Agency Creatives to see VFX heavy projects through from initial conception to final delivery.

As a VFX supervisor, I have overseen many shoots, both in the UK and abroad, and enjoy the challenge of quickly finding efficient solutions to the kind of complex issues that can arise on set. During the shoot I work closely with the Director and 1st AD to ensure all necessary plates are recorded. I capture textures for VFX, 360 HDRs, lighting references, 3D scans, photogrammetry & any set measurements required for tracking and placement of CG elements. Take a look at my VFX Supervision page for a list of credits.

I love the combination of creativity and technical problem solving that is required as a VFX artist. I’m always on the look out for new techniques to add to my skill set and very much enjoy any opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded artists.

I’ve worked at some great companies, with some extremely talented teams of people and I’ve also been fortunate enough to have been involved in some award winning projects along the way.
