There wasn’t much to speak of in terms of VFX on this job until the end shot. This was shot on the last day of a 5 day shoot in torrential rain. The shot was camera tracked and then every single surface of the environment (including the interior and the reflections on the glass) was replaced with textures that I went back and shot a week later on a drier day. The foreground trees had greenery added in CG. The only thing that really remains from the shot plate is the people, who were roto’d back onto the retextured plate after having the rain drops painted off them.

Senseless Things - 'Stranger Things Intro'

Senseless Things were my favourite band in the 80s & 90s, so when the opportunity arose to make them an introduction piece of video to come on before they took to the stage for their one-off London reunion show, I couldn’t have been more pleased to oblige. Having recently overdosed on Netflix 80s-esque TV show ‘Stranger Things’, it seemed befitting to the level of nostalgia to remake the iconic opening title sequence for the show with a slight rewording / logo substitution.
